Shipping and Returns Policy

Please review the following policies carefully.

Shipping Method Limits.

Fishing The Shallows uses several different types of shipping such as FedEx, UPS, USPS and Route Delivery. We choose the best way practices to get your product to you the most efficient and cost effective way possible.

Notes:

When choosing certain shipping methods, the remote addresses could be charged additional cost.

Destination Limits.

Fishing The Shallows ONLY ships to the lower 48 of the United States. 

ALL DISPUTES MUST BE OPENED WITHIN 15 DAYS OF DELIVERY*

This offers Fishing The Shallows and its suppliers sufficient time to resolve any issues:

  1. Photos or videos of the damaged item to prove damage must be provided. If the photo cannot prove the products are damaged, please upload a video. (Through PayPal Dispute or other Gateway, e-mail, etc.). If proof is not clearly shown Fishing The Shallows holds the right to reject the dispute.
  2. Products can only be returned if you have been issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number

 

If you are not satisfied with the original condition and/or performance of your purchased item, you may return the item within 15 days from ship date for a refund or replacement. To qualify for refund or replacement, items must be returned in original resalable condition (our discretion) in their original packaging with all tags and stickers attached. Any return are subject to buyer paying all return shipping charges and any other fee incurred while getting product back to our warehouse. Some products may be subject to 15% restocking fee and Closeout Items or items Discontinued are sold AS IS and will not be returnable.

Please Note: Shipping and handling is non-refundable except for defective items. We will not accept any returns without a RMA number. Must include original invoice or packing slip. Non-defective returns will be charged a 15% restock fee. Returns must be pre-paid by the customer. Allow up to 3 weeks to process returns. Items must be shipped by UPS, FedEx or USPS priority mail for tracking. We assume no liability for loss or damage of return packages. If package was damaged during transit please contact the shipping company(UPS, FedEx, etc…) to refuse shipment.

Rod Returns

Rod returns are now handled by the manufacture.

Notes:

Non-Deliverable items due to insufficient address, package unclaimed, no such number, etc. will be the customers responsibility to contact their local post office for delivery/pick-up options once the package has been made pending. Fishing The Shallows takes no responsibility for undeliverable items due to given shipping information.

Sometimes, local tracking numbers may show a sign for delivery, but the end customer claims that the package has not been received. In such cases, Fishing The Shallows will spare no effort to verify the real situation, which can be a long process (1-2 months), and there is no guarantee that of a positive result.

Orders not Received.

Fishing The Shallows will not issue a refund or resend an item if the tracking information shows the order is delivered.

If the customer does not receive the package, a non-delivery certification issued by the local post office with an official seal is necessary.

Tracking information alert. The tracking information shows Alert, the reasons are listed as below

  1. a) Incorrect/insufficient address.
  2. b) No such number.
  3. c) Unknown recipient.
  4. d) Refused.
  5. e) Do not pick up in time.
  6. f) No safe delivery location.
  7. g) Uncleared customs.
  8. h) Others.

Note:

The local distributor will deliver 1-3 times according to the actual situation. If it is still unclaimed during the delivery period, it will be returned to the local post office for storage in 3-7 days. The Customer will need to pick up the package themselves at that point in time. Otherwise, the product will be returned to the sender, our logistics company. During the return, Fishing The Shallows or its suppliers take no responsibility if products are lost or undeliverable.

 

Damaged Products

Fishing The Shallows offers a full refund or a replacement if packages arrive and are badly damaged.(proof required)

Incorrect or Missing Products.

Fishing The Shallows has a strict quality control process before products are dispatched and will process disputes with incorrect or missing products as follows:

  1. For incorrect products, Fishing The Shallows offers a full refund or replacement.
  2. For products with wrong color, size which doesn’t affect product function, etc., Fishing The Shallows offers a refund or resend if you provide photos of the complaint including name, content and date.
  3. For parts missing which doesn’t affect product function, Fishing The Shallows may refund partially or resend the missing part; for parts missing which affect product function, Fishing The Shallows will resend the product only.
  4. For accessories, Fishing The Shallows will resend the accessories.

 

Orders Cancellation.

For order cancellations, Fishing The Shallows offers a full refund before products are processed by the warehouses. Once processed and shipped we cannot cancel a order

Note: Not all orders can be cancelled prior to shipping, although rare some suppliers will not allow cancelled orders.

Customers should be positive of there order prior to purchase. *

Deadline of Opening Dispute.

You cannot open a dispute if the order status is closed otherwise, you have 14 days from delivery to open a dispute for all other reasons listed herewith in. Your dispute cannot be resolved when tracking information from a third party is untraceable.

Force Majeure.

Fishing The Shallows takes no responsibility for any product damaged, or any shipping delay caused by an act of God, including but not limited: an epidemic situation, international situation, strike, war, earthquake, flood, virus, storm, heavy snow, customs inspection.

However, Fishing The Shallows will extend every effort to notify you if such information is available.

*You cannot open a dispute if the order status is closed. Your dispute cannot be resolved when tracking information from a third party is untraceable.
